Charity event — Bowel Cancer UK
I’ve worked with Bowel Cancer UK for three years now, covering their cheer stations along the course and their after-run reception. On any given day I stay at one cheer point rather than moving between them — this time I was at the point near the end, then went inside to cover the reception.
I photograph the runners and their interactions with the cheerers, their family and friends — the moment they’re spotted, the shouts, the high-fives, and the relief once they’re through.
